SAP: Live Business Campaign Launch

Behind every loved product is a business, and behind every successful business is an intricate framework of technology, digital systems and innovation.  From eCommerce and HR to supply-chain, logistics, business intelligence and procurement, SAP provides best-in-class solutions to the world’s best-run companies.

And while you might not immediately appreciate everything that SAP does for you, it truly is one of the most relied-upon businesses in the world today.  With over 76% of global transactions running on SAP systems, it is the digital backbone for 87% of the Forbes Global 2000 and for 98% of the 100 most valued brands.

In front of more than 30k attendees at the company’s annual SapphireNow technology conference in Orlando, and with an additional 300k people watching around the globe, SAP CEO Bill McDermott unveiled a bold new vision for the company and a new benchmark for the digital world: LIVE BUSINESS.

BBDO is proud to be SAP’s partner in authoring this compelling new integrated platform, leading a roster of Omnicom agencies responsible for everything from advertising to digital experience and demand generation.

At the heart of our strategy was demonstrating how SAP simplifies the complex data and information that business leaders rely on today.  When SAP products are brought together, they deliver critical information and answers in the moment, from all across a business, end to end.  So decisions can be made and acted upon…live.

This "Boardroom of the Future” is a key part of the technology story, and the BBDO team worked hand in hand with SAP to help steer the UX and simulation design into the very product featured in the television.  Check out two of our TV commercials:

Supporting these commercials is a series of “Live with the CEO” content films – testimonials from high-profile CEOs like the NBA’s Adam Silver and Under Armour’s Kevin Plank, who gave us a few minutes to talk about how Live Business from SAP has changed the way they work.

Rounding out the campaign is extensive print, digital and online work that provides more context and factual support for the campaign.  And it’s all being housed on a new landing page, which harnesses live data feeds and messages that change depending on current business trends and market movements.
